2021 Garfield Alumni Foundation Scholarship Winners

The COVID 19 pandemic caused havoc to the entire nation. One of those most affected was the educational system. With the closing of schools, Garfield Alumni Foundation went from averaging 20-25 scholarships per year to zero. Now as schools reopen GAF will resume its 58-year tradition of recognizing seniors for their dedication and hard work.

It is with great pleasure that the Garfield Alumni Foundation announces six accomplished students who have been awarded a college scholarship for the 2021-2022 academic year. These students have overcome tremendous hurdles with COVID 19 and distancing learning. They are excellent role models for our Garfield community. We wish them all continued success in the classroom and the future.

2020 Garfield Alumni Foundation Scholarship Winners

It is with excitement that we announce our 2020 Garfield High School scholarship winners. Our 25 students have committed to eleven different schools from local colleges to those away from home like UC, Davis and UC, Merced.

All of our graduates have received their GAF scholarships and are ready to begin their studies in late August/September. We are very grateful for the support of our Scholarship Program by our alumni, community leaders, families and friends.

Let’s all stand up and cheer on our new Bulldog college students and GAF members!
