How much money can I donate?

No donation is too small, we welcome any amount for donation.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Yes, we are a non-profit organization.

How do I volunteer my time and how do I know if my skills are needed?

You can review our list of needed volunteer skills, and we encourage you to volunteer any way you can.

If I did not attend Garfield High School, can I still donate or volunteer?

No donation or volunteer will be turned away.  We are please if anyone wishes to assist our Foundation.

I have items to donate.  How do I get them to you?

You can call our hotline at (323) 266-0100 and make arrangements to bring them to us or we will make arrangements to pick them up from you.

How do I donate for a Scholarship in my name?

An individual, corporations, Reunion class, private clubs, groups, or organizatons can have a scholarship in your name.  You simply donate $500.00, send us your information and a scholarship will be awarded in your name to a deserving senior at the Annual Awards Ceremony.

What is the deadline to make a monetary donation towards scholarships?

To be included in the current year's scholarships, we must receive your donation before the end of the second week in April.
