Individual Donation

We would like to invite you to make a donation in the form of a monetary donation, volunteer your time or professional skills, or any material donations of items that can assist us in our work such as computers, office supplies, or raffle items.

Every donation, no matter the type, is important to us and we welcome any type of help you can offer.

Corporate Donation

We encourage corporations to make donations in any form.  Your monetary donations will ensure that we can continue awarding scholarships to deserving senior students.  We are also in need of volunteers and any materials you can offer for use in our efforts to raise funds.  For your convenience, please check our list for ideas and suggestions.

Donate Time - Volunteer

Garfield Alumni Foundation needs volunteers to assist at our fundraising events.  Volunteering is just as important to us as donation money or materials.  Your help is always welcome.  Maybe you think you are not able to volunteer for anything - we have tasks ranging from simple with little time to complicated and time consuming depending on your circumstances and availability.  We have listed some of the volunteer ideas for you to review.  As a reminder, you must be at least 18 years of age to volunteer and your help is always welcome.  Please contact us at (323) 226-0100 or email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Donate Money

Without monetary donations, we would not be able to fund our Scholarships awarded to Garfield High School seniors each year.  We have a goal to increase the number of scholarships awarded each year.

Monies donated also are used to assist GHS students in other areas such as uniforms, equipment, and school improvements.  We will be assisting with the football field rebuilding, sound system, and the ground breaking event for the new Auditorium.
